As the recreation landscape in Aotearoa evolves, so too must the way we lead, plan, and respond. This November, our new Recreation Leaders' Summit embraces this momentum with a powerful metaphor: the braided river, he awa whiria.
Like the braided rivers of Canterbury, the future of recreation is shaped by many strands — flowing in parallel, sometimes intersecting, and always moving forward.
At Recreation Leaders' Summit, we'll explore the dynamic currents and connections between the key drivers of affordability, social impact, technology and leadership.
The Summit invites you to step back, gain perspective, and engage in the work of shaping a braided future — one where equity, innovation, sustainability, and leadership guide the way.
Expressions of Interest – Recreation Leaders' Summit
