Pūtea Tautoko / Scholarships applications Have now closed and we were available to support participants with financial support for transport, time away from work, and enabling the participation of our teina and rangatahi.
Selection Process
Te rōpū tuku pūtea / The committee reviewed all applications and scored them based on a point system and alignment. Applicants will be awarded points based on whether they met all three criteria or a combination of them, an additional criterion has been included around contribution to the hui worth 2 points.
Encourages participation of younger generations by bringing a teina to the hui.
Demonstrates financial hardship that hinders participation without support (e.g., income/savings limitations, travel distance, work constraints).
Shows potential value to the hui through experience, unique perspectives, leadership potential, or representation of diverse communities. Briefly described in the registration form and any additional statements.
Applications for this financial support has now closed. Applicants will be notified on 8 August.
Note for Rangatahi Participation:
For rangatahi under 16 years of age, it is required to have a caregiver or guardian present or consent to attend the hui. Please ensure that the necessary consent forms are completed and submitted as part of the registration process. this is to ensure the safety and well-being of all rangatahi participants, in compliance with New Zealand's child protection legislation.
