Wednesday 28 August - The Coombes Aquatics Welcome Drinks and Quiz!
Join us for the first night of fun and networking at the Coombes Aquatics Welcome Drinks and Quiz.
Come and meet our awesome Exhibitors in the exhibition hall for drinks from 5.30-6.30pm then move into the main room for the legendary Coombes Aquatics Quiz from 6.30-7.30pm.
Thursday 29 August - Aquatics Awards Drinks and Dinner - 'The Future'
The Aquatics Awards evening is not to be missed. The Awards evening is themed 'The Future' so do feel free to dress the part!
Join us from 6.30pm for the Pre-Dinner drinks, sponsored by Jonas Leisure who always make sure we start the night right!
Following this we will have a sumptuous meal while celebrating the 2024 Aquatic Awards nominees and winners followed by a packed dance floor to local Wellington band The Noodles.
We are also excited to have Honey Hireme from Sky NZ to MC the awards.
Award Categories
Aquatic Innovation Award
This award recognises the success of a programme or project that shows innovation, community engagement, industry leadership and overall sustainability. This award celebrates an innovation that enhances the aquatic experience, streamlines the operation of the facility and/or contributes to the wider industry.
Lifeguard of the Year Award
The Lifeguard of the Year Award recognises an outstanding lifeguard who contributes to their facility, community and the aquatics industry in Aotearoa. This celebrates exceptional people that enhance the aquatic experience for both customers and staff through their enthusiasm and professionalism.
Lifeguard Team of the Year
This is awarded after several Lifeguard teams from various locations across the motu compete in a fierce competition, sponsored by OPSEC, that takes place on Tuesday 27 August. More information can be found here.
