Conference venue: Due Drop Events Centre 


The NZ Cemeteries and Crematoria Conference will be held at the Due Drop Events Centre, located at 770 Great South Road, Manukau.

  • The Trade Area and Dinner will be held in the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena.
  • Conference sessions will be held in the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre.

Getting there

By car:

  • The Due Drop Events Centre is 18-30 minutes from the city centre.
  • It's a 10-15 minutes' drive from the airport.
  • The venue is 5 minutes from Manukau.

 

By bus and train:

  • The closest major bus and train stop is the Manukau Bus Station, which serves as an interchange between bus and train services through connections to the adjacent Manukau Train Station.
  • The Manukau Bus Station is approximately 1.5km (22-minute walk) from the Due Drop Events Centre. 
  • A connecting bus runs from the Manukau Bus Station to directly outside the Due Drop Events Centre on Great South Road, approximately 250 metres from the main entrance.

By taxi or ride share

The drop-off zone is located outside the Due Drop Events Centre by the main entrance, in front of the colourful Pou Kapua.

  • This area is not covered and is approximately 80 metres from the main entrance. 
  • For those needing a closer drop-off, there is an access point for cars past the colourful Pou Kapua.

Venue parking

Free parking is available at the Due Drop Events Centre for conference delegates.

 

  • Mobility parking spaces is located directly outside the main entrance (indicated by the red arrow on the site map below).
  • To access these spaces, drive through the Main Gate and turn left past the colourful Pou Kapua.

 

Please note there are no designated mobility parking spaces within the general carpark areas. 


Venue entrance

The main entrance to the Due Drop Events Centre is through the Main Gate off Great South Road.

  • Pedestrian access is via the access point between Gate 2 and the Main Gate.
  • Gate 1 is not suitable for pedestrian access.

 

From the main gate, the entrance to the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre is located to the left of the colourful Pou Kapua.

  • The entrance is level entry with double automatic doors.

Conference registration

Registration for the conference is through the main entrance, in the AUT Foyer, at the entry to the Sir Noel Robinson Conference Centre.

 

Hearing Loop

Please note Due Drop Events Centre does not have an assisted listening system. 

 

Accessible bathrooms

Two accessible bathrooms are available on the ground floor, separate from the male and female toilets. These are located along the foyer from the venue's main reception:

  • One is in the Nicky Hastings Foyer
  • One down the Asian Pathway. 

Please note there are no gender-neutral bathrooms at the Due Drop Events Centre. Delegates are welcome to use the facilities that best align with their gender identity and/or expression.

 

Service dogs

Service dogs are welcome at the Due Drop Events Centre. The recommended relief area is on the grassed area at the front of the building, through the main entrance. 

 

Dedicated quiet space

A quiet space is available for NZ Cemeteries and Crematoria Conference delegates on Level 1, in the Boardroom. Access is via the lift or stairs at the main venue reception. Please note the quiet space has a single door entry (780mm wide).
